Differences between TPR and PVC:
The method to set TPR material apart from flexible brake glue PVC by means of burning identification
:Both TPR and PVC are soft materials with the characteristics of rubber elastic,it is hard to tell them apart
merely by watching their appearences and feeling their hand touch, however ,it's visually easier to distinguish
one from the other by means of burning.
By observing the smell of burning TPR smells fragrant and sweet while burning and does not smell awfully,
while PVC stinks while burning and smells awfully..
By observing the color of flame When buring, the color of flame root appears green ,then it can be judged
as PVC material,, while the color appears blue ,it can be judged as TPE material.
Flame-retardant level ( materials without flame retardant )The flame-retardant level of PVC is UL94-V2 , it is self-extinguishing,it will burn after being ignited, generally the flame will go out after the ignition source is withdrawn.
The flame-retardant level of TPR is L94-HB,,it will burn when catching fire, and continues burning when it is away from the fire and does not extinguish.
